My little sister and her husband had a similar vintage Grand Am (1993 I believe) that actually died on them as they pulled into the dealership parking lot to trade it in on a Durango. Don't know what the exact problem was, but north of 140,000 miles didn't help.

Cool blog. Found it from your Autoblog 1st Car survey comment (my comment is #150). I'm a car junkie, but most of my blog is poker content. I drive a lot, so there is some automotive content. Did you replace the Grand Am? With what? Good luck with it all.
