Miers Withdrawls!

Good news for Conservatives everywhere, as Harriet Miers withdrawls her supreme court nomiation. Now is the time for all of us to ask Mr. Bush to really think hard and pick a nomiee who is right for the job. One of the good things about our current president, is that he always says what he means and does what he says; unlike other presidents in the past have (Clinton). It was very clear to me, that Bush is trying to play politics here, and it blew up in his face, and his friend, Miers couldnt hack the senate hearings. It's a good thing she withdrew now, or America would have had a weak, unopinated, crowd goer making very important decisions. I am so relived.

YANKEES LOSE?!?!?!

I'm sorry, but as a long time Yankee's fan I have to say I am disapointed tonight with the 5-3 loss aginst the Angles. The umpire was CLEARLY BLIND and could not make a call to save his life!

these guys are right to argue, becuse Robinson Cano was clearly safe and the call cost the yanks an inning that was supposed to end well with more points on the board!

All in all though, it was a good game, and the Yanks where not playing as well as they could have, the colision in the out field did not help at all and I hope it never happens again. Good job Angles and good luck against the Sox!

Stanley, a Volkswagen Touareg, crossed the finish line dapra finish line in 6h,53m. Second place, was Sandstorm a humvee, who was only able to travarce 7.5 miles last year. this is big news for the military as well as VW and private robotics engineers. The military, who has not yet decided how to use the technology, sponsered the race to promote atnomious vechiles. VW will use this robot car in adds, and the team who built it joked it will use most of the money to "buy cat food".

DELPHI FILES CHAPTER 11: Some of the worst news yet to come out of Detroit; Delphi, the largest auto supplier in America, is set to file for bankruptcy in Federal Bankruptcy Court located in New York. It comes as no real surprise as the three largest American car companies (General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler) continue to struggle to stay in the black. Delphi has been losing money since GM spun it off in 1999, and in the first half of this year alone the company lost about $750 million. Delphi is expected to take out loans of up to $4.5 billion with about $2 billion from JPMorgan Chase Bank and Citigroup Global Markets.

Cadillac DTS:

Above is the New 2006 Cadillac DTS (formerly the DeVille) this Caddy retains the front wheel drive configuration that Cadillac developed with Oldsmobile in 1967. It has a MASAVE DOHC 32 valve per cylinder V-8 engine. This allows the DTS to produce 275 horse power at 6000 rpm and 292 pound ft of torque at 6,300 rmp standard, or if you opt for the performance model, you can command 295 horses at 4,400 rpm geared for 288 pound ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. This

Cadillac is unlike other new Cadillacs in that it retains not only the FWD, but most of Cadillac's traditional features. These include a plush floaty ride and enough room to seat four adults with still more room to spare and a trunk like those of the mid-sixties Cadillac’s (18.8 cubic feet of cargo space). Not to mention the eggcrate grille, and stacked head lights and tail lights (gotta love the wanna-be fins) The New Cadillac departs from the previous DeVille by incorporating an undated four wheel independent suspension that is self leveling and is stiffened by front and rear stabilizer bars. General Motor's "Magnetic Ride Control" and "StabiliTrak" systems team together to provide a much tighter turning radius and less body lean. The DTS is also quieter thanks to a new way to mount the engine, by using a separate cradle and Variable Valve Timing to reduce engine vibrations and to keep them from entering the cabin.

A first this year in the industry for safety is Cadillac's new air bag deployment system that uses sensors to determine how a "dual-depth" front-passenger airbag actually deploys. This dual-depth airbag will vary its inflated volume based on the occupant's weight and seating position as well as data gathered from the crash it self.
